Verne Johnson (Chairman)

Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Manitoba. He worked for Imperial Oil and Exxon until the 1980's and thereafter has been involved with a number of companies in the Canadian oil and gas industry, including ELAN Energy which was sold in 1997. Since 2002 he has been an independent investor through a family-owned company, KristErin Resources. Mr. Johnson is currently Chairman and Director of Petromanas Energy Inc., Chairman of Fort Chicago Energy Partners LP, director of Gran Tierra Energy, and a director of a number of private companies.

Dr. David A. Winter

Dr. Winter holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and a PhD in Geology degrees from London and Edinburgh Universities. His experience was gained both offshore and onshore in the North Sea, Middle East, Latin America and Southeast Asia, including working and living in a number of industry centres overseas in Yemen, Indonesia, China, Australia and the United Kingdom North Sea. Dr. Winter brings 24 years of international experience in operations, oil and gas exploration and development, and business development gained in increasingly senior management positions at British Petroleum, Sun Oil, Canadian Occidental (now Nexen), Alberta Energy Company (now (EnCana) and Calvalley Petroleum.

John A. Brussa

Mr. Brussa holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor and is a senior partner of Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP, a Calgary based law firm, specializing in the area of taxation. Mr. Brussa has been associated with a number of "firsts" in the tax and finance areas. He was involved with structuring the first royalty trusts, Enerplus and Pengrowth, in 1986 and the conversion of the first public company to a trust, EnerMark, in 1995. Mr. Brussa is a director of a number of energy and energy-related corporations and income funds. In addition, Mr. Brussa is a past governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation and is a director or trustee of a number of charitable and non-profit organizations.

D. M. (David) Fuchs

Mr. Fuchs holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming. His 30 years of experience spans the development of smaller oil and gas fields including heavy oil. He has played leadership roles in the growth of several junior companies in Canada as the Chief Operating Officer of Canrise, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Integra Resources and currently as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Arriva Energy. Earlier, Mr. Fuchs served as Vice President, Engineering for several successful private oil and gas corporations and has accumulated extensive engineering and management skills with Dome Petroleum and Shell Canada. Mr. Fuchs sits on the Petroleum Technology Industry Advisory Committee ("IAC") for Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and the Petroleum Engineering IAC for the University of Calgary, and represents the Small Explorers and Producers Association of Canada on the IAC for Oil for the Alberta Department of Energy.

James B. Howe

Mr. Howe received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta. Mr. Howe is President of Bragg Creek Financial Consultants Ltd., a private financial consulting company. Mr. Howe has served as Chief Financial Officer of several public companies and, in addition, serves on the board of directors of Ensign Energy Services Inc., Wrangler West Energy Corp., Bengal Energy Ltd., Pason Systems Inc., Seaview Energy Inc., and Holloway Lodging Real Estate Investment Trust.

Jeffrey J. Scott

Mr. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from California Coast University. He is President of Postell Energy Co. Ltd., a 30 year old private oil company operating in Saskatchewan. He is the Founder and Chairman of Gran Tierra Energy (GTE), an international E&P company. Mr. Scott has extensive mergers, acquisitions and public company experience. Over the last 15 years he has been involved in a variety of capacities from founder to officer and/or director of numerous publicly traded companies. He was a co-founder and director of Saxon Energy Services, an international drilling company. Mr. Scott is currently also a director of Essential Energy Services, Tuscany International Drilling Inc. and Petromanas Energy Inc.

Henry W. Sykes

Mr. Sykes has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from McGill University, and a law degree from the University of Toronto. Mr. Sykes is President of MGM Energy Corp., a junior exploration company active in Northern Canada. Mr. Sykes was President of ConocoPhillips Canada from 2001 to 2006. Prior thereto, he was Executive Vice-President, Business Development of Gulf Canada Resources. He began his career as a lawyer and specialized in mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate law.
